Weight finally moved (Insulin Resistant) and other stuff

I finally got my weight moving again. It was like a cork in a bottle of wine that was stuck. LOL.
So I've made it to my lowest weight so far of 265.4 and I'm fluctuating three pounds or so in the last few days just due to holiday eating. I'm not going overboard with my eating but I'm having a nibble here and there. I know all that adds up.
I know that I'm dealing with some insulin resistance combined with age and hereditary issues dealing with my weight loss. My dad has always struggled to get weight off and we pack it on quickly. Moving forward I know that my body is responding well to a reduction in sugar, some intermittent fasting and reduction in wheat and cleaner eating.
I've met with a gastro concerning my stomach issues. We'll be running tests in the new year to determine what treatment that I'll best respond to.
I really think I'm dealing with a mix of constipation and diarrhea and I'm trying to figure out how to best deal with this. A lady in a IBS group I belong to was having issues with diarrhea but she found she was actually quite constipated when her abdomen when they performed a CT scan.
My week is going pretty well. My son is home from school and his teacher says that he's doing very well. My husband is home for the next two weeks and he'll be taking his project management certification test on Wednesday. If he passes, we get a $20,000 annual raise. This will be big for our family. Would love all your thoughts and prayers.
