Great workout! - Core de Force, day 20

Today brought Dynamic Strength and 5 minute Core on the Floor. I have love/hate relationship with Dynamic Strength; it has some moves I hate (like the Sphinx Blaster - you can check this hellish move, and its modification, here:
), and some I truly LOVE (hello sumo squat with a leg check). I've talked about the 5 minute Core on the Floor in past blogs - 5 different plank challenges with no break in between. Ouch!

On weekdays, I get up really early to work out before I go to work. On weekends, I sleep in, get up and have coffee and breakfast, etc. Some weekend days, like today, it's later in the afternoon before I work out. I prefer early mornings, but I try to be flexible when I have the luxury.

So it was after 4:00 when I got around to starting today's 52 minute total routine. It took a bit to get into it, but I kicked its booty (and vice versa)! I feel stronger, although the moves that require balancing on one leg sure are difficult for me!

Tomorrow is Active Recovery. I'm looking forward to slowing it down a little and then getting a good, guided stretch.

And after that, I'll have 9 more days of this program... unless I go for another round... emoticon
