I'm Back!!!

I'm BACK!!! I was planning to wait until after Christmas to come back to sparks but I decided there is no better time than the present! This is my Christmas gift to myself, to start taking care of the body that God has given me and in which he dwells. I'm so grateful to him for giving me life and I know that he would be much more pleased with me if I start to live a healthy lifestyle. With his help and guidance, we will fight this battle together.

I've had setbacks in the past year but today is a brand new day and I'm not starting over, I'm starting anew! When I say I'm starting over I feel like a failure, but to say it's a new start (with God in it this time) puts some pep in my step and gives me a desire to fight on!

So for anyone who needs a new start, please join me and God on this journey!

    Boy you showed some sass in your blog. I am a yo yo dieter. I decided to make some changes a couple of months ago when I realized I can't do this alone. I need help. Not just with sparkfriends but with God's help I will get to a healthy weight. I have been there before and I can do it again... I will lose this weight for good. Correction: We will lose this weight for good.

    Good for you for starting back nine days before Christmas instead of waiting till after Christmas!! I know with me, I tend to put things off. You didn't.

    As you said, there is no better time like than the present. It's a great idea to look at taking care of yourself as a Christmas gift to yourself!!!

    I need a new start too so how about if I write to you and tell you about it?

    Oh sis, I hope you have time to read the Story of Thorns listed in our new team (Guidance through God's Promises) It is found in the forum called God's helpline. There are several good illustrations, object lessons, etc listed there. Oh that we would only have time in our busy lives to do all that we want, right? Hugs
