It's Hard to Eat Too Much

The title above is a little misleading. I don't mean to say that it's difficult to make myself eat too much. What I mean to say is that when I eat too much my body takes it HARD!
This weekend consisted of work, church, and two parties. On Saturday, I navigated the day and managed to eat only about 150 over my SP range, but I danced off around 400 calories so I'm kind of okay with that.
However, on Sunday, I did not dance. I went to a party that involved a lot of sitting down or standing in one spot for a long time. Between junk food at church in the morning, and delicious homemade gumbo, stew, fried chicken, and the various finger foods you find at a party, plus birthday pie, I was in over my head.
All together, since I tried my best to log everything, I see that I was about 800 calories above the top of my SP range. And as I said, I didn't dance. I was worn out from food by the time I got home. Slept poorly, and woke up groggy. I have retained a great deal of water from my Indulgence and have just felt like a lump today...just UGH.
I need to remember this. Thankfully, I've had no problem picking back up again today. And I've got a couple of big ballroom dances this week, that will crank up the exercise calories.
