If you don't bring it home, you can't eat it!

Saw a bag of dark chocolate M&M's and put them in my grocery cart. Then I looked at the calories and was shocked to read the 1/4 cup was 210 calories. Now I don't know about others, but who can eat 1/4 cup of M&M's? I put them back right away and was so happy.
Last night I was poking around for a snack and was even happier that those M&M's weren't in the house.
Lessons learned? Check the nutrition label and don't bring anything home that you don't want/need to eat.
