Back home from Vacation

Wednesday, December 07, 2016

Just got home from spending a week with my mom I wish I could have stayed longer. I am still really worried about my twin brother. He is out of the hospital but the dialysis is kicking his butt. It kills me to see my twin so sick, I stuck to my diet most of the time. I did have one day that I cheated but that was because it was my nephews 10th birthday and we had pizza and salad. I had a piece of pizza. I did not have any cake or Ice cream so it was not to bad of a cheat day. I did not work out at all this last week. We were on the run the whole time I was there. I did volunteered two days at Saint Vincent de Paul. I try to at least do one day when I go home but I did two days this time since my mom was scheduled to volunteer those two days. All in All I had a great time with my mom. But I am now home with my husband and son and tomorrow I go to see the ortho doctor for my post op to see if I can get this cast off. I don't care if they put a new cast on but I need this one off because it is cutting into my wrist and since the swelling went down in the elbow it is rubbing against the cast now. I prefer to have it off so I can do more exercises but we will have to wait and see what he says tomorrow.

Glad you are back and send prayers for your brother to recover.

You did a great job of following the plan while on vacation. I usually blow it completely when I am traveling or around a lot of food.

    Take care of yourself also.
