That Lemon Meringue Pie!

Well, here is what is left of the pie after Geoff and I had some yesterday evening. I did not have any cream of tartar for the meringue so Geoff googled it and found that I could use lemon juice. Did not hold up as well - but sure tasted good and lemony!!
I still use Betty Crocker pie crust mix - just never got the hang of making crust like my Mom did - her pies were fantastic!! But have a couple of recipes from a friend at church - will try them. They are supposed to be "no fail" but I can probably fail them without much effort!! Will see how that goes.
