Week 21

Thursday, December 01, 2016

This week has been a mixed bag of nuts. With the weather in the Pacific Northwest, it is very hard to get our exercise in. Walking is hard without rain gear and it has been pretty chilly. We have snow in the forecast this coming weekend, so that will complicate things a little bit more. We did manage to get our walking in 2 days, but our goal is 4 days. We also did some physical work around the house yesterday which helped a bit.

My image issues have calmed down some. I know this is part of the weight loss progress especially with weight loss surgery. I am starting to come to understand that this is who I am now and that the old person in the mirror is gone for good.

Weight loss continues for me with another 2.6 pounds gone this week for a total of 116+ pounds gone for good. All the sagging skin is annoying at times, but we will get that taken care of in due time.

Have a great week and make good choices!

Glad the image issue is resolving itself. It is a total mind game as we take this journey.

I can relate on the extra skin.

Keep on the course. We are now approaching our 5 month surgiversary.

I can hardly imagine all the adjustments that must come with such a huge weight loss in the time you have done it. Hope things stay on an even keel for you. Weather can be a huge challenge to work around. Wishing you success in finding ways to make it work for you instead of against you. emoticon
