Where Does My Joy Come From - 11/30/16

Where does my joy come from today......

....my hubby took care of my scalp today. I had a growth from my head removed yesterday and the doctor stitched me up with 10 stitches. Hubby is an Intensive Care Nurse and usually does not take care of me, since I am "not on a respirator" and ought to be moving around myself as to not get blood clots, lol. Don't ask. It's just one of those nurse things I guess. But he did so lovingly help me wash my hair and then applied medication to the incision. I felt to taken care off. What a good man.

... I got a lot of great sleep today, about 10 hours. I think I must have needed it. The procedure yesterday must have been more stressful to me than I let on. I was out like a light and woke up feeling absolutely wonderful. I made us nice healthy broccoli and smoked gouda omelets and rested up some more.

.... finished the first of the squares for my husband's tricolored throw I am working on. I just started the second one. There will be 12 big squares in 4 different colors and all of them will have different patterns. It will be glorious!!! Might take a while, but hey, I have nothing but time.

What a sweetie you have for a hubby. Good men are hard to find. You know a man really loves you when they go above and beyond. It sounds like he did just that. I'm glad you are getting rest and you have someone with medical knowledge at your disposal. Feels just nice to be pampered. We all need that from time to time. Your knitting looks absolutely terrific. I use to knit but haven't in years. I did knit a scarf for one of my co-workers and unfortunately gave me tendinitis in my shoulder. I want to learn to crochet more than a chain stitch. I'm looking for something to occupy my hands instead of being on the computer. I spend way too much time on here. You take care Ute, rest and enjoy the pampering. You deserve it. emoticon

What a man! Sounds like he is a keeper. What colors will the throw for your husband be? I wish I could still do that kind of stuff but the arthritis is too bad in my hands anymore. Oh well I will stick to the other crafts I can do. LOL
God bless you and keep you on your journey! Have a fabulous day!
