Still no snow around here, but I am sorta looking forward to it. Waiting on it.
We have a very dark sky today, but I think it is going to be rain again.
I hope you had a very nice Thanksgiving holiday week end. Our weather was so nice that I got work done outside again and even got to ride.
I cooked for 23 people. It is not as bad as it sounds. I made the turkey, all 2 lbs of him and 2 stuffings. I lower carb wild rice stuffing and my mom's traditional bread stuffing.
I also made a lower carb pumpkin pie. It had a pecan crust. I used my regular pumpkin pie recipe and replaced all the sugar with Stevia. Even my "very ill with many morbid obesity health problems", sister liked it. I was actually surprised she tried it. She is so militant about us minding our own business about her health. She even made a low carb cauliflower and cheese dish. Maybe she is coming around? But I hope it's not too late for her. She refuses to manage her diabetes in an adult and intelligent way. So in denial.
She is an intelligent college educated woman and she so misses the point of the low carb. She just doesn't seem to understand where the carbs lie.
Sometimes I just have to vent. Sorry
I was happy with the scale this morning. I lost close to a pound, even with the holiday. I don't think I've ever done that.
That is my plan for the winter.
Stay on track
Don't give up
Drink the water
My goal is to buy a new wardrobe. At least mostly new things, to wear in the spring. This winter I plan to wear what I have as I go down the sizes. I have all kinds of sizes of winter clothes. I also like to wear sort of a tunic look and bulky tops, so as I lose weight, I'll have winter clothes to wear.
I am projected to reach my goal weight, the middle of June!!
Tonight I am back at Jazzercise. All my injuries are better and I can get back to it.
Be Well My Friends,
For The Love Of Health!
