went to do a sleep test on Saturday night. Figured there was little chance of sleeping, what with being keyed up after the Michigan Ohio State game (freakin' zebras), but they said to turn off the cell phone, so I did, and then the lights went out and so did I. Actually, I fell asleep before they started the study, since when I got there, their technicians were still busy with other patients. They strapped me into their wires (did a selfie, kinda fear posting it because, you know, brown guy with a box with wires trailing out of it) and amazingly, I think I actually got a regular night's sleep. And perhaps even a better than regular night's sleep, because on a regular night, if I happen to wake up, and even think I might need to go to the bathroom, I go. But when you're strapped into all these wires...
But anyway, the sweatpant wearing, wallet and phone in pocket having weight they took prior to the test had me at 221.6. Excessive, but it was an evening weigh, with said extra garments/items. This morning's weigh in has me at 213.2, within the boundaries of the recent fluctuations, if still on the high side of that range.
