New apartment!

Monday, November 28, 2016

I may have a new apartment soon. I found a place not far from where I live now, but this place is really nice. It has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, washer & dryer, and a fireplace. It also has a small patio and is downstairs and about 4 miles from work and 4 miles from all 3 of my kids. It is a one bedroom, so I will need to get some livingroom furniture and a kitchen talbe, but I am so excited to begin! I will find out for sure today and hopefully, will be moving in on Wednesday.
My brother said I can use his pick-up to move and I think my sons will help me move. I really don't have that much. Just a single size bed, dresser, tv and stand, and a night stand, the rest is still in boxes in my closet:)
I pray that I will get this place! It is exactly what I really want:)

Keeping my fingers crossed for you to get the apt. It sounds very nice. Being that close to work is great. I had an hour drive each way when I worked and it seemed like I was always in my car. You could even ride a bike if the weather was decent. Hope it all works out for you. Good luck.

Hi, do you remember me... Maria Jo???
I am on a plateau and in spite of walking 4-5 x a week at least four miles each day, I have been on plateau fro quite a while. I am hoping to get my food under control. Over thanksgiving I jjust ate and ate
So before Christmas comes, I am looking for support and accountability. I went from 220 to 155 but gained back 10 pounds to 165 and have been floating there for a year. I look thinner, but older.
With the rain, my exercise of choice is less attractive.
Joined Cal Family fitness and like the aqua and other classes but so far have not gone because I would rather walk. I have a tread mill in the garage, I have friends who will walk with me on dry days, I have classes I can attend so I thought I might like to come back here to talk about how hard it is to get to my 150 goal. Hope to get some support. emoticon
