Thanksgiving & Black Friday

Welcome to Christmas season! I'm a bit of a Christmas nerd, so if you're not, bare with me. haha
Had a very nice quiet Thanksgiving with DH. A few weeks ago I was signing up for a Turkey Trot and DH said he would do it with me. He has bad knees so he's never done a race with me, so I was SUPER excited. The trot didn't start until 9 am, which was a bit late for me. Weather wise, it was great, but I completely missed watching the parade on TV. This particular turkey trot was 4 miles and HILLY. After doing 13 very hilly miles on Saturday, my legs weren't quite ready for this. LOL DH & I powered thru and finished. My legs were jelly and his poor knees were killing him. Overall, it was fun and I really enjoyed walking with DH.
Came home and made a mini Thanksgiving dinner for the two of us and relaxed while watching some football and ended the evening watch Elf. Because Santa is coming.
This morning before work I headed out to Target & Bath & Body works. Target was calm and quiet, but Bath & Body works was pretty busy. I wanted to get there early to get the VIP bag! :) That was it for stores though.
My friend told me about her Faciablaster a few weeks ago and I've been pretty intrigued. It's a tool that helps break up the facia all over your body. Most everyone with plantar facitis can tell you bad facia can be pretty painful. Anyway, there's alot of claims with this "blaster" that I'm on the fence about, but anything to help break up the facia in my legs has got to be great. So, I ordered one of those this morning. Probably won't be here till close to Christmas, so I'm going to just wrap it up and throw it under the "tree". We actually don't have a tree in the apartment, so I'll just have to throw it under something else. LOL
Did you score any good Black Friday deals?
30 Days till Christmas!!!!
