Planning Ahead

I have been real rocky the last few months of my road to health journey. Things are a bit stressful with a lot of hospital visits and just craziness with the kids. I kind of broke down at one point and could not figure out why I just felt so depressed and sad. I realized after talking to a few people that I have become really isolated from adults and I am spending all of my time just holding it together for everyone else. I think that is commendable for a mom, but just not healthy. So I am going to make a few small but powerful changes in the next few weeks. These may seem little to some but they are huge for me:

1. Plan a months worth of healthy meals. i will allow myself a cheat day on Christmas and one other day to celebrate the holidays but I really want to sit down and plan healthy and yummy meals that I can get everyone eating, and if the kids don't want it they can have a pbj.

2. Meditate--try to meditate 10 minutes a day, just time to get in the right frame of mind.
3. Exercise three days a week and start wearing my fitbit again.
4. Drink more water!
5. Slowly reduce coffee intake

and of course track everything!

It is easier said than done, but I need to be my own hero right now.

We have some big hospital appointments coming up, a two day stay after Thanksgiving that is going to be stressful but I am going to push through them by planning. I can do this, I just have to stay present.

    You are sitting realistic goals for yourself. Do not know that I could plan meals that far in advance as I plan mine by the specials at the supermarket
