Going from Binge to Sparkpeople

Tonight I wondered if I would have time and the wherewithal to eat ice cream at 4 AM before I have to catch a plane. Not because I might be hungry at 4 AM. Not because we are having a special 4 AM ice cream party. But to fit it in before I go. Because I am trying this SparkPeople and this New Life, I will not have 4 AM ice cream. I will have coffee and maybe a muffin if I am hungry--but I likely won't be that hungry so early in the morning. I will wait for hunger to hit. I will try to be at peace with keeping a small amount of hunger in my belly before I eat. I will enjoy specially made food and social company, but I will resist the urge to consume ready-made food just because it is there. If I want it, I will have to buy it for myself later.
