5% Fall Challenge 2016 - blog #6

Friday, November 18, 2016

Wow, last day of the challenge and last day that I will be blogging. I think this is really my least favourite of the weekly challenges, but I am happy that I have been doing it to help out my team.

After two or three days of rain in the mornings I awoke to nice dry weather and partly sunny skies. Royce (the dog) and I walked our 90 minutes this morning and felt very good when we got home. My wife and I had a project for the day to rearrange furniture and declutter our family room. We did get everything done and the room looks good. Bad news is now we have to go out and buy some more furniture to fill in some gaps. Oh well, it does feel good to have a project compete and I definitely earned the 10 points for decluttering today.

Tomorrow is the final weigh in. Poor timing that we are going out tonight to a neighbours birthday party where there will be snacks and alcoholic drinks. I didn't weigh myself this morning (Friday) so I will have to go with my weight in the morning (Saturday).

Look forward to the start of the Winter Challenge and hope to actively participate on my team. I have really enjoyed the 5% Fall Challenge and if you haven't joined the 5% Winter Challenge here is a link that you can follow to join:

No great person simply picked something up and was the best. Everyone put in time, energy, hours and in fact, 10,000 of them. Be gentle with yourself, but remember to work for what you want.
