Hello Everyone,

Thank you for commenting on my last blog. It is always nice to hear from each of you. The races went on and on last night. The evening started out OK because it was a nice sunny day, but since it gets dark so early now, by 6:00 PM it was starting to get COLD. As the night wore on, it got COLDER and COLDER. There were two portable heaters in the area where I was working, but they cannot really compete with OUTSIDE. It was OK as long as I stood right by one of the heaters...not GREAT or warm, but OK. It was long night! Most of the spectators stayed until the very end though, so I guess they were having a good time.

That was the last scheduled race weekend, BUT I heard it mentioned that there may be another race next weekend. Not official was announced, but some were talking about it.

Since one of my sons had a birthday on the 10th, and the other son has a birthday on the 16th, we celebrated tonight by going to a restaurant. Two of their friends were there, and my sister, Shelby and her husband, Ray. It was fun and nice.

I have a busy week, but that is not news! emoticon I have been given another hour each week at the Y. That won't be a problem now that the races are over (or almost over if we have that other race).

I gotta get going to send out a few Team Goodies to a team that I co-lead. I hope your weekend has been GREAT and that your week is WONDERFUL!

HUGS
Pam
