Amazing What a Little Sleep Can Do

So, given my age (48), and the hormone fluctuations expected around now, as well as not-so-quiet roommates, I've been having interrupted sleep for a long time now. The havoc this plays on your mind, your will power, etc., is HUGE.
However, for the last 3 nights, I've slept all night, 7-8 hours straight, even waking an hour before my alarm this morning. I've had energy all day, a clear mind, and have been able to make wise food decisions all day, even given the donuts a roommate picked up this morning.
Plus, I've been motivated to slog through all my laundry, and to begin gutting a small part of my room.
Added to all this encouragement is the fact that I was another pound down this week. :-D
