Eating too much

Tonight I had 900 calories after all my meals and a snack. I then ate snacks and it went up to 2,300. I was so determined not to eat a bunch of junk but I did. Today I went to the gym for the first time in a month. I'm frustrated I don't feel like I can stop this late night binging. I've quit it before and lost 50 lbs. Please give me ideas on how to do it again.
