Eating too much

Friday, November 04, 2016

Tonight I had 900 calories after all my meals and a snack. I then ate snacks and it went up to 2,300. I was so determined not to eat a bunch of junk but I did. Today I went to the gym for the first time in a month. I'm frustrated I don't feel like I can stop this late night binging. I've quit it before and lost 50 lbs. Please give me ideas on how to do it again.

You can do this. Just keep working on cutting back on the snacks, especially at night. It just takes time but you will get this done. Eat healthy snacks when you can.

Distracting myself like that has helped a lot in some of my very hardest times. It helps me break out of the habit even when I can't access support people because they are sleeping!

Something that helps me when I have strong urges to binge at night is to delay it. I'll set a time limit for myself like an hour and tell myself that if I still want to eat that after my hour, I can. Then I find something else to do, like a game.
