Wednesday was a busy day, without much getting done. Did get the block made - Jack's Delight. I was told it's a scary block, that it looks like Dracula's mouth. Guess that means the pink fabric is less appropriate than orange would have been.
Thursday's block - Lola - was quick and easy, and I like all the Halloween batiks. Good thing it was quick, it was also theatre night. How to Succeed at Business Without Really Trying is a fun show to see. Enjoyed it immensely!
Since Friday's game was out of town, I only had 50 minutes to make the block. Luckily it was an amazingly quick block - not what I expected from Mosaic #10. It also turned out surprisingly cute with these fabrics. Unfortunately, the game was not as wonderful.
Today's block - Windmill II - is a cute little pinwheel surrounded by square and rectangle units. Had to use partial seams to put it together, but none the worse for that. I'm never sure why people have such an aversion to partial seams, I enjoy them. Also enjoyed tonight's production of A Midsummer's Night Dream. The kids did a wonderfully good job.
