Wheat Belly 10 Day Detox – Day Two 10/27/16

One thing I learned on this day is to not write down what you plan to eat for the day in PEN.
I had planned out what I was going to eat for the day in my Daily Planner book based on the meals for the day in the WB 10 Day Detox book the day before. DH and I plan our dinners for the week every Friday but breakfasts and lunches are “decide at the time” (better known as just grabbing anything out of the refrig) type of meals. Thought I would be proactive and write (in pen) the day before what I would eat for the next day to keep me on track but then I didn't feel like anything I wrote down.
I ended up having to tape a little sticky over the box in my planner with what I actually ate. I need to plan though for the next day. I work from home and just grabbing things gets me into trouble. So I have to prepare and write down the next day's meals....just in pencil!
I also found that I don't really like the WB focaccia bread I made. Was going to have a ham sandwich with it but one bite and I threw it out and replaced it with boston lettuce leaves. I think I don't like the dried rosemary in it. Maybe I will make it without that next time?
What I ate:
B: 2 eggs with 2 slices bacon;
L: Ham with mustard on boston lettuce wraps
Sn: 2 hard boiled eggs; Prickly Pepper smoothie (from GreenBlender); coffee with heavy cream
D: hamburger with sliced tomatoes and sauteed onions and peppers; arugula with lemon juice and olive oil; broccoli
Sn: Almonds, pistachios; green tea;
I think I did well in what I chose for the day. Went to bed a little hungry but I did have a big dinner and then some nuts and green tea before bed. Not sure it was "real" hunger". Scale god was good to me this morning so my choices for Day Two must have been okay.
However, I need to work on getting more water. Usually I am pretty good at it but not this week for some reason.
