What I wish...

I have found a way to make workouts fun. And I learned that I really do like vegetables.

Now what I need to do is find a way to make tracking my food easy and fun.

I know that the SP tools are supposed to be easy, but I don't like the SP mobile app on my iPad and I do most of my tracking and blogging and SparkCoach"ing" on my iPad. So it gets frustrating how difficult it can be to find and track food using my iPad.

I wish there were a way to just take a photo of food and have it be tracked. That would make all the "this was my meal" photos on Facebook and elsewhere so much more useful.

Even better would be some type of fitness tracker that tracked the food as it went in my mouth. But that's the stuff of science fiction. So by my calculations it should be available within 9 months... ;-)

    cute. although not always as easy as we'd like, it sure is easier than the old fashion way of pencil, paper, calorie book and add. maybe you are too young to remember before internet...

    LOL I would love those apps now too. The more advancements in technology the more possibilities we see. I would love a refrigerator that would order me healthy foods and restock when I ran out. Also would love a robot cook that really knew how to make healthy foods taste great. Stuff dreams are made of.

    I also use the Sparkpeople mobile app and I have several issues with it. What I do is to log everything I intend to eat first thing in the morning. Then I log any "extra" items in the evening before bed. That way I only fuss with it a couple times a day.

    I agree with you about the mobile app. It is a pain!
    I love your ideas. If only we as writers could turn our science-fiction ideas into reality. Then we could really move along in our goals! emoticon

    Alas, emoticon we must do it the old-fashioned hard way and hope that the sweet smell of success at the end of the road will make the many arduous steps of work worth it.
