Wow, how time flies!

It has been a while! Wow!

I have been really busy with my freelancing career and I have been MIA, but I thought I would pop in and just catch up with everyone!

Since I was last here our book called "As The Ink Flows; Devotions to Inspire Christian Writers & Speakers" was published through Judson Press....yes, I am officially an author! (Dream come true)

I continue to write for clients and hope to one day write my own book/novel/memoir, whatever.....

I have taken a break from exercise because I have this hip flexor thing happening and I have trouble with my hips and my doc said she wants me to go to physio before I do ANYTHING, well, ya'll know that when you work for yourself, you do not have coverage, so the physio is not going to happen anytime soon.

I am going to sign up for a gym membership at the community centre so I can use their rowing machine, stair master and other cardio equipment. I will build up slowly, I am so unfit now! It is embarrassing.

I did get to do some traveling this year and went to NASHVILLE for 3 days and 2 nights! SUCH FUN!!

My family are growing so fast and time is flying by so quickly!

I have decided to put my foot down and start taking better care of myself...and that means getting fit again.....

So here goes....

    Congratulations on your book! I'm sorry to hear about your hip. Is there a way to get even an initial meeting with your physio? They could give you directions to follow and especially what not to do. You could get a lot of info even from one visit. Since you have a gym membership does it by chance also have swim facilities? Walking in shallower water could be supportive if you go slow and use float devices. Good luck and good job on recommitting to your health, you won't regret it.

    Great to hear from you! Nashville is a great place and the conference sounds like a blast - you met so many interesting people. I love your book recommendations - and thanks to Kindle I can actually get them :)
    Sorry to hear about your hip problems. Hope gentle exercise at the gym will help a bit. Taking care of yourself is a MUST.
