Week 15

Thursday, October 20, 2016

This week has been like a plateau week. Things really slowed down this week for me in weight loss and exercise. The nasty weather here in Washington state is not very conducive to our daily walks, so it's time to get creative to kick my metabolism back into gear. yesterday was grocery shopping day, so we got in our steps,, which is probably why i was able to eek out a little loss.

Saw my primary care physician yesterday for my annual preventative exam. She has not seen me since right after surgery in July. She was absolutely amazed and proud of the progress that my wife and I have made. All my lab work looks great. It just solidifies how much healthier we are now than just a few months ago.

Have a great week and make good choices!!

It is tough to find substitutes for walking during cold or wet weather. Takes determination to get that exercise in somehow, but once you have tasted the benefits,, it is easier to find that determination to keep going. You might try something like Leslie Sansone walking DVDs. That's what I did a few yrs ago. Congrats on all the good news re :tests and Dr visits.

Awesome on the labs coming back aces. Yes winter is approaching thus I have now joined Planet Fitness at the beginning of the month. I am there M-F mornings and do at least a mile on the treadmill. From time to time I will add in a session with the personal trainer to shake things up.

Good job on getting your steps in while shopping. I did that last night as well.
