frustrations

My gosh my life has been stressful as all heck for the last 3 weeks. My 36 year old son is an alcoholic and showed up at my doorstep drunk jobless and homeless. He won't admit he needs help is in complete denial. I have come home from babysitting my grand daughter everyday for the last 2 weeks and found him passed out and drunk. I search find and get rid of the hidden bottles of vodka. Have no clue what to do and the stress is staring to take a toll on my marriage not to mention I am struggling to keep up with my exercise . SIGH........

I can honestly say that I would put him out. You aren't doing him any favors by giving him food and a place to sleep so he can drink more. I hope that you can find strength to get through this hard time.

I have been married to an alcoholic for 20 years and he near died 9 months ago and has been sober since. So I hear your pain but you can't fix it. I don't believe my hubby would have ever quit had he not been near death (they gave him 48hrs & his liver was only functioning at 5%). He was in hospital for 3 weeks before he was able to come home. I hope your son realises that he needs help and gets it soon. emoticon
