Run for the Hills 5K

Today is October 15th, 2016 & I volunteered at yet another 5K today. I did not run. I did not walk. I didn't do the 1 mile "fun run". I did the behind the scenes kind of things. Some lovely (on the outside) runner walked past me & said to her companion..."Well, that's a good reminder to eat healthy & stay active." Yes, I fully believe she meant me...but this post isn't about her. It's about ME!
Next year...I am turning 50. And I endeavor to be in the best health of my life. I won't be at the lowest weight. I won't be my fittest. I will, however, be on the ROAD to being my fittest & I will definitely be the healthiest by making baby step changes in my life that lead to big changes in my lifestyle. Next year...some time in October, I *WILL* walk this 5K. I won't exactly "Run" for the Hills, but I surely will WALK to them. I'm telling you & more importantly...I'm telling ME!!!
