1. Who can you reach out to for support? Are they positive?
I have a good support group. I have my Spark family and my family and friends. I can come on here anytime and find a friend and read different articles to help me out in a tough spot.My main person here is my husband. He has never said a word about my weight. He encourage me to walk more and reminds me when I forget to do my PT exercises but never says a word about my eating. So I can honestly say that everyone is a positive person in my support group

2. Actions speak louder than words.
I can buy all the weight loss how to do it fast books, exercise tapes, and the best foods in the world but they will not do me any good if I don't read the books try the recipes cook up all the food.

3. Learn to say NO as much as you say yes.
Eating more food than the body needs puts on the extra weight. Say no to extra severing, Watch and count your calories at each sitting and eat healthy snacks .Saying no to overeating and yes to exercise.

4.What mistakes have you made and what did you learn from them and how can you keep them from happening again?
Mistakes I made over and over is giving in and giving up. I give in to the temptation of eating way to much sweets, way to much starches, and just way to much period. If I stay still on the scales I figure why try.If I lose the weight I can't seem to keep it off so I stop trying. Two times in my adult life I have weighed in the right weight according to the height/weight chart. Both times it was followed by something bad happened to me or in the family. Emotional eating starts and before I realized all my trying and hunger was for nothing.I need to think at all times before I take a bite. I need to find a way not to give in to the wants of my mind and taste buds. Along with the be aware of food intake I also need to move more and sit less.

emotional eating is a down fall of mine too! The truth is it makes me feel even worse in the long run! The few minutes of actual eating are a relief from the situation, but it's only a very few minutes!! Great Answers Faye!!

(Continued) lastly I am looking for balance. I refuse to say never...never have chocolate or chicken Alfredo or eat out. The difference is more I don't eat the whole pan of brownies and I will use tofu instead of egg and oil to make them. :-)

One step at a time. Now that you are aware. Try to tracking. Then try something else to help yourself. You have a lot of positives going on. We can do this! Have an outstanding weekend.

(Continued) so far are chic peas and bulgar wheat...they crank up protein, iron, and fiber...who knew. Avocados also are rich in fiber and healthy fats. By adding these foods I'm learning to ear more rounded meals. It is a process.

(Continued) Prior to using this app, I thought I ate rather healthy. It took me till the fourth day to get my carbs at my goal of 1300 -1600. I was still eating too much fat and not enough fiber. I keep researching foods with fiber. My favorites

In the past I dieted, then gained it back and then some. I have learned that dieting doesn't work for me. Instead, I'm making a life change. I put in my food and at the end of the day I look at the nutrient breakdown of the foods I've eaten.
