At a standstill

Thursday, October 13, 2016

I have been at a standstill for about 10 months with some weight gain and loss. I lost 50 lbs 6 months earlier on weight watchers. I quit weight watcher's yesterday. I have been on sparkpeople with since 2008. I didn't have much success. In the last 10 months I have lost and gained. I have snacking at night and eating the wrong stuff I want to stop. I just recently started exercising. I have lost 2lbs of my recent 8lb gain. But I am the exct weight as 10 months ago. 😕 can anyone off advice?

Thank you! I will do that. I always record my calories and know how much I have left. But I will pay more attention to it.

I just finally had to approach my eating like I do my banking.
I always know exactly how much I've got in the bank and what I'm going to spend it on.
Now I treat my calories the same way. Yes, I COULD buy this car, but, then I'd be broke... yes, I COULD have this pizza, but, I'd overdraw on my calories.

If I'm automatically reaching for a snack now, I stop myself. I'm not really hungry, I'm bored, or lonely, or angry. So, I blog it out, or complain to a friend, or hit up the chat or blogs here to distract myself.

Best of luck as you work through and find a sustainable method.
