Maybe a sundress?

Thursday, October 13, 2016

Bodies can be so different from person to person. I have chunky fat legs which I hate. My sisters are the same weight as me, yet their legs do not look like mine; they have nice tapered legs. And I have granny arms, which I also hate. It is a little difficult to get rid of those because I have arthritis in my shoulders and I can't pick up anything heavy. I would love to be able to wear a sundress again. Or shorts in public. Sigh. I will not let that define who I am though. I will persevere even if I never look good in a dress again.

We all get to a certain age where we have to either cover it up or accept it.

It's too cold here in the UK at the moment for sundresses but I must admit that during the summer I began to wear strappy dresses without a cardigan or shawl to hide my flabby arms. I have come to the conclusion that nobody can honestly say that they love every part of their body, there is always something they would change. You are unique so please, please, love yourself.

Wear a sundress. Love your body, it might not look as you want it, but you can wear a sundress and shorts and be pretty. Keep up the good work though.
