12 days, 12 pounds

So, in the last 12 days, I have lost about 12 pounds. After the 2nd day, I found it a lot easier to follow the low GI diet without mad cravings for chocolate and chips. I lost 10lbs from the diet alone and about another 2 lbs because I am taking 30 minute kickboxing classes with a trainer.
The classes kick my butt big time. I am 7 weeks out from a knee surgery so there are some alternate exercises that I am doing in between punching and kicking the bag but when I am 100% I'll be able to get the full benefits of the workout. I didn't realize I had so much aggression to get out until I started punching those bags! And the workout changes everyday so it doesn't get boring or repetitive and works out more areas of the body. Last week I did 3 sessions, this week I am aiming for 4.
