Day 13

Tomorrow is my official day to weigh in, but of course I got on the scale today. A little disappointed but I know in my heart that I didn't go over my points all week and I'm proud of that. I also know I've had a lot of sodium this week...and I need to drink some water to flush it out.

I also decided I am going to have one meal a week (after weighing on Saturday) to enjoy or I will drive myself insane. I have fought the temptation, but life is about balance and damn it I'm going to enjoy a little bit of it.

    Progress is good! Even if you didn't lose as much as you wanted, you still lost - and you followed your program. Great job!

    After awhile you'll find legal recipes that are every bit as craveable as the ones you used to make. My big family Thanksgivings and Christmas dinner are all WW recipes, and all 20 family members rave about them, they just eat bigger servings than I do. I take WW recipe dishes to block picnics, they all scarf them down totally unaware that they are WW.

    It's definitely about balance - and I have had weeks like this too, but then, all of a sudden the scale moves in the right direction! You can't control the numbers on the scale, only your calorie count & it sounds like you are doing really well. emoticon

    It's a really good idea to allow for something you really enjoy and track it. If you want to be able to stay with this lifestyle it can't feel too restrictive. Good luck with your weigh in tomorrow!

    That's all you can do. If you don't at least give yourself that joy, ultimately like me you will sabotage yourself in the long run.
