Core Life

There's a restaurant in my area that's pretty hyped up because they offer all clean healthy eating. I've been there 3 times hoping for love. But I just DON'T love it. The idea of it is amazing!!!! All fresh foods, you choose what you want to add. Salad soup or grain bowl. But the flavor is just not there. I am having such a hard time because the dressing isn't great and the soup is bland. I want someone to open a place with this idea but make it taste like you are cheating. Give me -"WOW that's healthy"??? I bet they have these places in LA. Pinterest recipes are great and I have a lot of flavor in my cooked meals. I want someone to do it for me!! Hahha!

I know, right!!! I feel the same way.
I had family in town and made appetizers for two nights and got rave reviews on all my food.

My aunt confessed at the end of the trip she felt bad for indulging so much, and I'm like, really!!?!?! Here's the calorie count for what you actually ate! (lean meats, low cal cheeses and condiments, everything baked not fried, fresh fruits and veg aplenty, some stuffed with that cheese, but, always like a half a tsp, anything with a creamy center filled out with shredded cabbage, which no one knew was there)
So, yeah, I just want someone to do it for me. lol.

Unfortunately at times its about eating healthy first and for taste second.I on occasion have to force myself to eat healthy when something doesn't exactly taste great.

You can always bring your own dressing and spices, but you shouldn't have to if your paying for a meal
