Added in strength training!

Weigh in was today... It wasn't what I expected. I am up 4 lbs since last Monday. Instead of what I was hoping for, I got the exact opposite. There are several factors that might play into this gain.
1) I just added strength training to my routine yesterday. I think there might be some water retention going on in my muscles because they aren't used to be worked as much.
2) I wasn't great on my water intake yesterday. I find that I tend to weigh a bit more when I am dehydrated.
3) Aunt Flo might be paying me a visit in the next few days.
Anyhow, we'll see how next week goes in regards to my journey. I know I haven't been slacking in my steps and I'm pretty sure that I've been staying in my calorie range. I haven't been tracking my food intake like I should so I could be wrong. I am changing that today, however, and making sure I track everything that I eat.
As far as fitness goes, I'm not sure how to track the Blogilates videos I'm doing. I've always been terrified of trying any kind of pilates. It always seemed so complicated! I love how Cassie makes you feel comfortable with trying and also makes the workouts a lot of fun. I have to modify a lot of the moves to accommodate my size and current flexibility. But that's ok, I know I'll get stronger and more flexible as I continue.

2.5 videos yesterday and 3 videos today! Over 10k steps yesterday and over 13k steps today! I'm pleasantly sore from the videos and my feet are killing me! I think I might have overdone it on Saturday with the hiking, so I'm trying to keep my feet up this afternoon. It's really not easy to sit still!!
