I'm an emotional eater and have let stressful situations at home and work cause me to overeat and not exercise like I know I should. I recently changed positions at work to a less stressful one (at least I hope that is the case), along with the job change comes an entirely new schedule (before I worked 7-4pm, now it's 4-1pm during the week and 6-3pm on weekends)
GETTING BACK ON TRACK:
6-8 glasses of water daily
Cardio 4x a week for a minimum of 30 minutes
ST 2x a week for a minimum of 20 minutes
Control portion sizes not only for snacks but meals as well
Limit snacks to lunchtime
Don't bring money for vending machine to work (those Skittles get me every time)
Log in to SparkPeople on a regular basis (read motivational blogs, check in with teams daily, become a more active participant on teams)
Have "ME time" each day - minimum of 30 minutes (does not include exercise time)
I know how to do this, I just need to get my head in the game again and keep putting one foot in front of the other to a healthier and happier me.
Have not done as well as I had hoped. Need to rethink some things and get back on the road to being healthy and fit.
