How and what we eat is very much a result of conditioning, outside cues, and old habits. Science shows that when we heighten our awareness, create an environment conducive to healthy body weight and practice healthy llfestyle habits, we lose excess pounds. So work on changing a small habit or exchanging a familiar unhealthy cue for a healthy one (big plates & forks for small ones). Or be aware and check labels, measure food, and food-track!
How to be aware?
Draw some HARD lines for yourself. These lines will force you to be aware of the choices you are making that go against what you really want.
