Plaid Autumn Tints

So, Friday night I got home exceptionally late from the football game - Go, Team! - and chose to swap the Friday and Saturday blocks. For some reason, I didn't want to be sewing for 2 hours after all day at work and then 3 hours of screaming in the stands.
Friday's block - Plaid - isn't quite what it is supposed to be (I think the yellow and green should be swapped), but I like it. Plus, I got to sleep before midnight.
Saturday evening I sat staring at the computer screen, trying to figure out what to type into the blog, and couldn't do it. Probably because of the sleep aid I'd already taken - good for sleeping, bad for typing coherently. So I closed it all down and went to bed, satisfied that the block - Autumn Tints - was done and put away. I really do like this pattern; it sets up a very pretty secondary pattern effect.
Today's block - New Album - is another simple, fun block. I swapped the light and dark tones, and the fabric sort of muddles the pattern a little, but it's enjoyable anyway.
