Problems Posting The fifth step.

Sunday, September 18, 2016

For some reason, I'm having problems posting the 5th and final step. So will try it this way,

V. Confess Him As Your Lord.

In Romans 10:9 - If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord of your life, and believe solely and completely in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
It goes on to say in Romans 10:10 - For with the heat, man believes unto righteousness, and with your mouth confession is made unto salvation. In other words, you have to verbally confess to others that you have made Jesus your Lord and Savior.

In Mark 8:34 - And when he had called the people to Him and His disciples, He said to them, Whoever comes after Me, you must deny yourself (all of your pleasures and sins), take up his cross, and follow Me. (Put yourself on the back burner and follow Jesus. He will lead you in great and awesome places).
It goes on to say in verse 35 - For whoever saves his own life for himself will lose it; but whoever loses his life for Jesus and the gospel, the same shall save it. (you're only losing your flesh if you lay down your life for Jesus. Your real you will live forever in heaven with Jesus. Our bodies are only made of clay, but our real us is our spirit and soul. That's what will be with Jesus forever.)
Mark 8:36 - For what shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

Mark 8:37 - Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
Mark 8:38 - Whoever, therefore, is ashamed of Jesus and His words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when He cometh in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.

I hope this will help you spread the love of Jesus to others.

Blessings to all until next Sunday.

Cari Jane
