Crazy: my PERMANENT address

Friday, September 16, 2016

... at least according to my sister. Too much going on. My half sister is in the hospital, just had a hysterectomy, my sister had arthroscopic knee surgery for a torn cartilage several years ago, and almost died-and now there is a small tear in her meniscus. Same knee. There is a possibility she may have to have knee surgery again.

Then there's me. I went to my PCP today, just to get a prescription for pain meds refilled for my fibromyalgia, but she looked at the latest lab tests and did a more thorough exam than usual... and ordered an ultrasound of my kidneys. I suppose it's about time, since the last one was when I was first diagnosed with kidney disease, somewhere around ten years ago. And she did say I don't need to worry too much, that my kidney specialist probably wouldn't change my meds or anything.

When I looked at the paperwork, it said "acute kidney injury superimposed on chronic kidney disease." Nothing to worry about?? Maybe worrying makes it worse. It does most things and is the biggest waste of time EVER.
I'm gonna pray harder tonight... emoticon
Got no more time, drat it all.
Love you guys..
