Pushup day and a great thought
Thursday, September 15, 2016
I ran out of time today because I ran a lot of errands. But I got the most important things in: 30 minutes of walking and 4 sets of 20 (assisted) pushups. My upper body strength needs the most work so that was a start.
Tomorrow I hope to make it to the gym for a real workout.
A thought that I took from a short essay that my daughter wrote is worth sharing:
The only fear that is worth having is the fear that I will give up and accept the status quo as something that I can't change. Thinking that we can't make a difference and that it is therefore not worth the effort to try to bring about change is what keeps anything from changing. So fear complacency more than anything.
