"Why did it have to be spiders?!"

Bugs. Ants. Spiders. MOSQUITOES. Cheese and Tripe.
So... I'm caught in a vortex of suck involving PCOS, anxiety, blood pressure, and not having access to the meds I need for the PCOS because the PCOS has exacerbated the anxiety and BP. Vortex of SUCK. While I wait for my friend to get back with me about a reliable, trustworthy PCP to sort me out I'm monitoring my BP at home, trying to meditate and work on my anxiety, and taking my bike out to clear my thoughts... now that I have a bike. YAAAS. The problem is that the new bike has sat for just long enough for all the bugs in Southwest Michigan to take up residence on or near it. Don't get me wrong, I adore summer, but I can't wait for autumn chill to kill off or send into hibernation all the damn bugs. I transferred the water bottle holder from the old bike to the new bike, discovering that it really doesn't fit well aaaaaand about 20 ginormous black ants had taken up residence in the hollows of the rubber piece that rests on the bike frame. *shudder* After I whacked it on the ground yelling, "OUT! OUT!" I reattached it to the new bike while getting devoured by several mosquitoes that would not get the hint and GO THE EFF AWAY. But the best part... *twitch* the best part was when I went to undo the bike lock. I attempted to casually wipe away the spiderwebs that were spun between the bike and the bike rack... ugh. Sticky, gross, nasty... blergh. I feverishly wipe my hand on my jeans and go to wheel my bike out from the bike rack... and what do I find but the BIGGEST EFFING SPIDER HIDING BETWEEN THE FRONT TIRE AND THE WHEEL WELL!
I cannot wait until Jonathan and I have a house and we can have a garage where I can store my bike instead of it hanging out under the trees in the bike rack...
Spiders... and I had to put 30 pounds of air back in both tires. Cheese And Tripe. *sigh*
In other news... still haven't replaced my SPAT... but I DID replace my phone which apparently comes with some sort of GPS distance tracker with all kinds of health widgets, so I have that going for me which is nice. :D
