Labor Day Weekend. Yay, an extra day off!! More Parties and slip ups, hmmm... This past weekend started off strong with completing my Daily Burn recovery day video and making it through a very busy day at work with no major problems other than having to work during a hurricane. Then it went downhill. So I went to start my hour long friday commute, only to get partial through to have my tire light come on. So I pull off to a gas station and try and fill my tires so I can make it home and call the dealership. However, what should have be maybe a 20 minute thing turned into 3 hours extra because I locked my keys in my running car in the pouring rain with my purse and cellphone inside. AAA is worth every single penny because they were there once I could get in touch with them. I make it home but we have no electricity so that meant Chinese for dinner. I was hungry because it was late and ate way too much.

I started Saturday with good intentions and I did get to walk my pups for a short walk. I knew I had a wedding for a cousin in the afternoon but I had planned to get a walk and daily burn video in before because after the wedding I was going to a friend's river house to hang out. The car trouble threw a wrench into that because I had to leave earlier than I planned and I only got part of breakfast (not a good one, 1/4 cup of cheerios and a cup of coffee). Then I got to the cousin's thing early thinking oh well they will probably have a light lunch since the wedding is at 2:30. No! No, lunch. Then I had to wait until they served a sit down meal at 5:30 at the reception. I was famished and cleared my plate and had a piece of wedding cake. But then by the time I got to my friends', they were eating dinner and even though I had just eaten. Well I only had one meal that day so I could eat again.

Sunday and Monday were relatively better on the food choices besides monday we did go to Arbys' but I split my fries with my pups. Lesson of this weekend. Always carry snacks. As well as I make poor food choices the longer I wait in between meals whether because of portion size or selection.

Today though I have not let those decisions keep me down. I got up early to walk before work even if my aunt didn't meet me out there. Plus I made a spark meal. I also went to zumba. So healthy choices today.
