Fit and Fiber Full Challenge Day 8

So today we read about cholesterol. I already knew where my sore spots were with this, but what I didn't know is that it creeps up in women after age 55.

Hmmm.... good thing I'm on a Mediterranean lifestyle now!

Evil sugar seems to be out of my system again. Really learned my lesson this time.

I have barely been squeaking by on my fiber the last couple of days, and I was even 1 gram short yesterday for the first time. Going to check again in terms of working that fiber!

For those of you with high cholesterol, what do you do to tame it?

    tried eating but there is so very little cholesterol in most foods it is hard to lower by eating only. exercise, and pills are what I do

    I follow the eating plan Whole by T Collin Campbell - mostly fresh raw vegetable , rice on occasion and fish as my protein and beans . I am in good range with cholesterol . I keep a balance of my mineral intake like Zinc and Magnesium.

    I also have High Cholesterol......Some help: Eat more Omega-3 foods such as Salmon, fish...use Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Eat beans, drink green tea and my FAVE is eating Dark Chocolate!!! emoticon

    I've been fighting high cholesterol for Years , I switched to stevia instead of sugar and added more fresh foods instead of processed food.
