Work has to slow down sometime

Sunday, August 21, 2016

For the last 2 weeks it has been so busy at work but hopefully it will slow down. Most of the enrollment is over and now just to get everyone with parking decals. I have an appointment with a back specialist on Thursday to see what is causing my sciatica to act up. I went for a acupuncture treatment. It was the first one had. I had to think about the cost because my insurance won't pay for and neither will Medicare so I am having to go the other route. I know that surgery is out of the question as I am still to heavy for surgery and I am sure not ready not ready for another surgery. I hoping they can help me with a different approach.

Hope the acupuncture helps. Sciatica is horrible. I second the idea of yoga, or some other relaxation/stretching/flexibility type movement as a possible help.

I know for me, the more I sit, the worse it gets...maybe as work slows, you can move around more & stretch in between decals!

Have a FB friend dealing with sciatica right now (and unfortunately, it's flaring up while she's away at a music festival)........I wish you the best with your situation........

I hope your sciatica gets better. You might think about trying yoga -- I have a friend who swears yoga cured her back pain -- of course, it took about a year. But might be worthwhile.
