"Sweat your Prayers" - Connections - Tribe - new beloved different drummers

5 days dancing 5 hours a day! Guided through and with open hearted connections. Now THIS is "exercise" that synergies with my soul!

    Dancing is based on the writing and work of Gabrielle Roth of NYC's Moving Center. 5 Rhythms (flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical, stillness). Lots of different music. Some mindfulness work. Some theater games ish stuff. A little bit related maybe to what people think of as 'ecstatic dance'... but.... liberating / free / constant motion and transitioning.... "sweat your prayers". Loved it I did! And.... I just learned of a class that meets evenings about an hour from here on Thursdays. So I can keep it up a bit!

    And. I just found the "From Fat to Finish Line" video of Katie and other Sparkfriends doing a relay run in FLA. Rented it on Amazon. Way cool.

    You mentioned it in your previous blog - what kind of dancing are you talking about? Is the music strictly drums or is that just a portion of what goes on? You made it clear that you thoroughly enjoyed yourself!
