First Day of School.

Wednesday, August 10, 2016

WOW! What an amazingly and exhausting day it was. 30 students and their supplies all eager to please. Thank goodness I was given an assistant or I would have drown in so many supplies to collect, check off and go over rules and procedures. I am completely drained. emoticon This is only day one and 180 left emoticon But who is counting. I know it will get better little by little but for now I just need a foot rub. I am sitting with my feet on two cushions trying to pamper them. Tomorrow will be a better day! emoticon

I get it...and people think teachers have an easy job...LOL! If you are one or married to one you know different! I hope you have a good week as things get settled in!

I think maybe the "First Day" excitement contributes to the fatigue. Ah yes, I remember it well -- but not the supplies part. I can tell you love teaching, and I'm sure your hard work is much appreciated, and each day will be easier as you all settle in. Enjoy!
