July's struggle & August Goals
Monday, August 08, 2016
Well July started out pretty strong with dropping from 181.3 to 178 in the first 1/2 but then I'm not sure what happened or where my motivation went because by month's end I'm back to 181.3.
I did find out in July that my A1C was even higher than the last reading so my GP referred me to an endocrinologist. He has changed my medications up a bit, seems to be working since my BS#s are improving. YAYY, so hopefully this will help with the weight loss struggle. I go back to see my GP in September, so my goal is to be out of 180ville by then.
To achieve my weight loss goal for September, I need to make some positive steps. Here are my goals for August:
*Continue my daily water intake of 10 cups daily
*Focus on 5-6 servings of FREGGIES daily
*Strive for 6- 8 hours of sleep each night (this is my great challenge)
*Monitoring my BS more closely, checking 2-3 times daily
*Work to get my BS levels down under 180 after meals & under 140 FASTING
*Adding walks in my day, will start with short 10 minute sessions & build up from there
*Lose from 181.3 down to 179 & leave 180ville.
I'm ready to get myself back on track & see some positive results on the scale & with how my clothes fit & improvements with my BS.
I just have to keep pushing.
, one step at a time.
