August Goals

Sunday, July 31, 2016

what happened to July goals? my last goalie blog was about May to June. July flew by as I worked recovery, had some holidays, worked alot and started a side business.
Weight- My plan was to continue the downward trend, but I went up and down, and finally stayed the same, mainly for the cheating. I resolved to track my cheating better, to get a handle on when and where so I can problem solve. So, anything that is not on program goes into the snack 3 category for logging. Staying paleo, with no grains, no dairy, low carb really keeps me from the nighttime cravings. I started some aromatherapy, to help me sleep and havent waked in the night to eat, for the past week, so I continued that. Also was trying to really use the self care plan at night. Tracker taught me that cheating leads to binges. For now, I can't start. I have to eat a paleo, high fat, low carb life, modified whole 30. I am not so vigilant about hidden sugars, like bacon cured with sugar, and some honey in a recipe. No dairy, No grains, No obvious sugars. No soy. No legumes. limited nuts. August starting weight 283.
2) Movement: My pain has kept me sidelined, no walking. I did do two sessions of water aerobics. I learned that there is a class at the high school pool, so will try that. I would like to start walking before, after or to work. I have to resume slowing. At times, I can't get out of the big comfy chair.
3) Have a life; July was all about getting Jake ready for college, and August will be about him leaving. I would like to make my first sales goal for perfectly posh. I need to find a sponsor.

Tracking everything I put in my mouth, even chewing gum or Altoids, helps me stay on track.
I too have problems with eating after supper but I don't wake up in the night wanting food usually. Sometimes I wake up for the bathroom with hunger pains but I'm usually able to power through without eating.
It sounds like you have a good plan for your food.
I have trouble with exercising because of my lungs so I know how hard it is sometimes to get it in. Do what you can when you can.
    Most of all, keep Sparking.
