De-clutter to lose weight.

I am realizing that I can't make the serious progress in weight loss until I de-clutter my home. Just like in weight loss, I want to see my house de-cluttered if not in a day then in a week. I had to realize that just like losing a pound or two a week is considered the best type of weight loss. Reorganizing my home takes the same small win effort. I have to just do it everyday little bit by little bit. It is frustrating but when I do a little here and there I start to see a difference. I wish it could be done in a day but true change takes time. Losing weight has to be a lifelong change not a diet. Same for learning to de-clutter and staying that way. I am reminded of debt. I had a family member who would get out of debt all in one shot by some windfall money. A few years later they are back in debt. Everyone has heard of the people who lose a lot of weight only to put it back on like a yo-yo. So I have to make really small projects and maintain the changes I make. No one else may notice but I feel better.
