Good progress so far!

Well, I began getting back on track a couple of weeks ago. Usually, I just maintain my weight and don't lose weight but this time, the numbers are going in the right direction! So far, 6.5 pounds down! Woohoo!
I have an appointment in 1 month. I told the doctor I would try to lose 4 lbs per month. He wanted to to aim for 10 lbs per month and I told him he was insane! With the endocrine issues, I lose weight at a slower pace and at is okay but there is no way I'm setting unrealistic goals.
Some days are really challenging. Yesterday was really tough. I was having a lot of anxiety and I didn't want to eat healthy at all! I just didn't want to do it but I did pretty well. I think keeping goals in the back of your mind helps.
I'm not trying to get healthier to please doctors. It's something that I am working on for myself.
I have a long way to go but I am really just focusing on one week at a time.
Some days are not challenging and eating healthily comes easily. I really love those days! :)
Exercise is beginning to come in th e picture too. Nothing too crazy right now.
