This morning I came to the sudden realisation that I will be visiting Thailand in exactly three months time. Panic overtook me as I stared at the scale. The numbers have been going up and down for the last few weeks. My heart sank as I looked at my belly. Am I bound to end up visiting Thailand, looking like a pasty piggy? I can imagine sweat dripping down my round face as we try and make our way through the markets! And let's not even talk about the bathingsuit issue! I have three months. My aim is to drop 10kg by the middle of October.

Although I haven't been to the gym in a while (a series of unfortunate events, include a tooth abscess, hurt foot, and now a cold and another sore tooth), I plan on going back as soon as I recover from this head cold. Although I am not very keen on doing weight training (I find it boring), from what I gather, it has a lot of benefits. Hopefully, I am over this cold by Wednesday. For now, I will climb back into bed, catch up on some much needed ZZZ'S and have faith that my body will heal in time.
